Chloe Pumfrett an ex student who is currently doing her PGSE at UCC gave a presentation to us about our upcoming table top exhibition. She gave us some really useful tips on how to plan for it, and what kind of things we will need to put it up. I am very happy with the design I came up with which is pictured below. For the screen I will be hanging a toile and the sail of each side, and having one toile on a mannequin. I will then be presenting a journey of my work so far on the screen. On the table I will then have my sketchbook and files, as well as fabric samples, and my design boards for the two tiles I have made. I am happy that this will work, and look forward to putting it up Wednesday next week.
Chloe also got us to analyse a previous students exhibition layout which again was very helpful when deciding what we wanted for ours.
She also gave us a checklist so we knew what to put out for the exhibition.
